Kaban Guide

Kaban is the boss of Streets of Tarkov and carries 1300 total health. He spawns at a 45 percent rate. He has one of the largest entourages in the game: four guards, two snipers and two special guards named Basmach and Gus.

Where Kaban Spawns

His fixed zone is the car dealership. The area around it is enclosed, so his snipers take high positions and cover the approach routes.

How to Kill Kaban

He carries a PKP machine gun and sometimes an M60E4 or M60E6. Those weapons keep suppressing fire up for a long time, which means you cannot advance while your head is exposed.

Clear the snipers first. While they are alive, every route to the dealership is watched. Then meet the guard group from a narrow angle, because if all eight enter your line of sight at once, backing out gets hard.

Kaban wears no armor and his head carries 85 health. His chest is high at 355, but two headshots with a helmet defeating round usually end it.

What Kaban Drops

Kaban is a key carrier and that is where his value sits. The car dealership closed section key drops 51 percent of the time and the Aspect company office key 50 percent.

The note with the code word Onyx drops 70 percent of the time and an AFAK every time. A gold chain appears 12 percent, Morphine 11 percent and a TerraGroup Labs access keycard 6 percent.
