Spawn Location

Any scav spawn, Tagilla, 2ScavPort29

Tagilla is the hammer boss of Factory and carries 1220 total health. He spawns at a 30 percent rate in daytime Factory raids and 45 percent at night. He also comes to Interchange at a 25 percent rate. He has no escorts and attacks alone.

Where Tagilla Spawns

On Factory he can appear at any Scav spawn point, so waiting at a fixed spot is pointless. Listening for the direction of his footsteps and shouting when the raid starts is the reliable method.

On Interchange he uses the zone named after him. He can share a raid with Killa, so hearing two separate boss fights inside the mall is possible.

How to Kill Tagilla

He wears a plate carrier with ballistic plates and a welding mask on his head. That mask is not as protective as a real ballistic helmet but it stops weak rounds, so do not count on a one tap to the head.

He usually carries a Saiga-12K or an MP-155 shotgun, which means a couple of hits in a narrow Factory corridor will kill you. Sometimes he arrives with an RPK-16 light machine gun or an AA-12 automatic shotgun instead.

Distance is your only real advantage. Hold him at one end of a long corridor and back off as he closes, because inside hammer range you die in a single swing. Keep moving instead of hiding behind a corner, since he runs straight at you.

If your ammo cannot defeat his armor, aim for the legs. His torso is covered by plates, the legs have no protection and each leg carries 140 health. His head has 100 health, so a helmet defeating round also gives you a one tap chance.

What Tagilla Drops

His fixed gear is:

  • A welding mask, either the Gorilla or the UBEY version
  • A Crye Precision AVS MBAV rig, Tagilla edition
  • A FirstSpear Strandhogg plate carrier with its ballistic plates
  • A Saiga-12K, MP-155, AA-12 or RPK-16
  • An F-1 grenade and a Zarya stun grenade

What is in his pockets varies. A Salewa first aid kit drops 80 percent of the time, an L1 norepinephrine injector 67 percent and Vaseline 12 percent.
