Kollontay is the second boss of Streets of Tarkov and carries 1055 total health. He spawns at a 45 percent rate and moves with four guards.
Where Kollontay Spawns
He appears in two zones: the Klimov shopping mall and the Ministry of the Interior academy. Both are multi storey enclosed buildings, so the fight almost always happens up close.
How to Kill Kollontay
He wears a PSH-97 Djeta helmet. That is a heavy helmet, so aiming weak rounds at his head wastes time. His head carries 65 health, so once you have a helmet defeating round it ends quickly.
His legs carry 120 health each and have no protection. If you lack penetration, that is the efficient route.
He can carry a PP-9 Klin, a Kedr, a KS-23M shotgun or an RPD machine gun. The KS-23M can end you in one shot up close, so take corners slowly. His guards split into assault and security roles, and the assault pair pushes ahead.
Since the fight is indoors, use stairwells. A position looking down keeps all four guards from reaching you at once.
What Kollontay Drops
The PSH-97 Djeta helmet and the PR-Taran police baton come off his body. On the weapon side you find a PP-9 Klin, KS-23M, RPD or AKMN.
An AFAK drops from him every time.
