Customs Map Guide

The classic Tarkov map of bridges, dormitories, factories and open roads. Quest density is extremely high; nearly every trader sends you here at some point. Engagement distances are mid-range — neither pure CQB nor pure sniper territory.

Tactics & Tips

• Push the upper floors of Dormitory early — the best loot is there and enemies arrive fast.
• Memorise RUAF Roadblock and ZB-1011/1012 extraction points in advance.
• The old gas station roof gives a long-range advantage.
• At night, light sources make you an easy target — keep a low profile.
• Prioritise Prapor quests early; most of them are completed on Customs.
• Dorms is the hottest drop on Customs — multiple PMCs will be rushing it at the start of every raid.
• Reshala mostly spawns at Dorms but can appear near RUAF Roadblock or New Gas Station. Clear his guards first.
• The Factory Gate Extract on the east side offers a safe alternative exit — ideal when avoiding combat.
• Old and New Gas Stations are rich in fuel and components. They may be looted early — waiting a few minutes helps.
• The bridge and checkpoint are chokepoints connecting both sides of the map — check the ridge lines before crossing.
